It happened on Sunday, June 23 in Seaford, according to Nassau County Police.
At about 5:30 p.m. that day, a 34-year-old woman was walking in the back of East Broadway Elementary School, which is located at 751 Seamans Neck Road.
As she walked, a man approached and touched her before running away.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic man between 20 and 25 years old. He had long hair and braces.
The investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
